Sky City Story Chapter 2~Booker’s POV~
Finally past all the guards, gee that was pretty insane! What with this “False Shepard” thing any way? I meet this kid named Link he’s been sort of helping me along the way although he’s still kind of new to the whole killing thing, not one of his good qualities. I’ve made a list.
Good: good at keeping secrets, looks somewhat innocent at first, not freaking annoying
Bad: hesitates on killing, doesn’t talk that much (that’ll probably end up driving me insane some day)
Anyways back to the task at hand, how the crap do I get to the tower?! I seriously need a map of this place! Maybe I can ask some one. I look around and see a man and woman, who look so alike its creepy, standing in front of me. “hey, do any of you know ho-”
“heads?” the man cut me off.
“or tails?” the woman continued for him
“what? No I don’t have time for this.” I said trying to move around them. The
Sky City Story Chapter 1~Link’s POV~
“Link! Link! Wake up!!”
I slowly open my eyes. Gee how long was I asleep?
“Link the cannon is fixed!” Midna, my cursed Twili companion, said nodding over to the cannon. Finally! Now we can go to the sky and get the last mirror shard!
I got up and went over to the cannon. Now to use it…aha! There a place to claw shot to on the inside. I got my claw shot out and aimed it. Then I pulled the trigger and the claw shot out and grabbed the inside of the cannon. I pulled the trigger again and it retracted, still holding on to the cannon, and pulled me in.
“Hey wait up!!” a familiar voice called from behind. I looked back and saw Ooccoo and Ooccoo Jr. coming over. They both jumped into the cannon with me, and right on time too. Right when they jumped in we were all shot into the sky.
I poked my head out of the water and swam over to the shore. I coughed out some water and sat on the sand so I could catch my breath before mov
Sky City Story Prologue~Booker’s POV~
“Bring us the girl…
…and wipe away the debt”
That’s what they told me. Heh. Easier said than done.
I looked up at the light house before me. Why would anyone be here? I turn back to the boat. “Am I meeting any one here?” I ask the man and woman on the boat.
The woman let out a slight chuckle. “I’d sure hope so,” she said, “this wouldn’t be a fun place to be stranded. The man started paddling the boat away. I sighed and headed up the stairs to the lighthouse.
“Hello?” I called as I went in the light house, “is any one here?” I looked around. In front of me was a small table with a dish full of water on it and a sign that said “Of thy sins, Shall I wash thee?” Yeah, good luck with that. I walked away from the dish and over to the stairs. There was yet another sign this time saying “From Sodom, Shall I lead thee?” I ignored the sign and kept
LoZ: Ocarina of Time fanfic chapter 4 Link ran through the forest as fast as he could. Navi was doing her best to keep up. He stopped on a bridge and looked back close to tears. Navi caught up to him. He slowly started walking across the bridge.
“Link wait!” he heard Saria’s voice and stopped. She caught up to him and said “your leaving aren’t you.” She looked into his eyes.
Saria was links best friend. They were so close they were like brother and sister. Link was sad that he had to say good bye to her. He could tell she felt the same way.
She pulled something out of her pocket. It was her ocarina. “I want you to have this” She held the ocarina out to Link. “Play it every once and a while to remember the forest.”
Saria was making it harder for Link to hold in the tears. He carefully took the ocarina in his hands. He smiled and said “thank you” then they hugged.
“Play it!” Saria said smiling
City of the Sea: Chapter 4 “mister bubbles, mister bubbles. are you there, are you there. come and bring me lollies, come and bring me toffies. teddy bear, teddy bear”
I heard the voice of another girl, about my age, singing. I looked over to Jack and Zander, who were giving each other the “look of death.”
“morons,” I muttered to myself then ran off in the direction the singing was coming from.
I turned the corner and saw a little girl. She was wearing a purple dress and bow. she had bright yellow eyes, creepy, and her skin was really pale. She was singing while…stabbing a dead body with a needle, wait what?!
I walked over to the girl. “h-hi!” I stuttered.
She looked at me. There was a short silence.
She jumped up. “Hi!!” she said waving her hand. She had a big smile on her face. “I’m Nikki,” she said “what's your name? how did you get here? Isn’t this place awesome?!&
LoZ: Ocarina of Time fanfic chapter3Good Bye Great Deku Tree
“We defeated the monster great deku tree!” Navi said cheerfully zooming ahead of Link. They both walked out of the tree and faced it.
“You’ve done well.” the great deku tree said in a small whisper, “you two worked together and broke the curse saving the forest, but sad to say my time is up.”
“Huh” Navi said confused and worried, “what do you mean?”
“My time was up before you were even sent here” the tree said
“n-no,” link said eyes clouded with tears, “you can’t die!” he ran over to the deku tree and fell on his knees bursting with tears. Navi flew over to comfort him.
“Link listen to my words” the tree said. Link looked up at the deku tree. “While Gohma was inside me I started to understand her intentions.” He paused for a moment. “She was also cursed by the evil power that cursed m
The Coffee GodThe Coffee God behind the counter shuffles foot to foot, a dance of steam and espresso. Black painted fingernails, inch gauged ears and a gray striped sweatshirt, hood crooked on his back. There's a cigarette tucked behind one ear; it bobs and twitches with each step.
“Non-fat caramel latte,” he calls, just as he always does, part of a spell, part of a mantra, toneless (just a tuck at the end). I reach. He looks up.
The espresso maker hisses.
There's something like a grin, something like a spark, something like a shared secret linked eye to eye. When he passes over the drink (rough cardboard sleeve hot to the touch), he lingers. Our fingers brush, a shiver, a jolt, a ten-watt shock.
The Coffee God tilts his chin, shouts, “Hey, mind if I take my break now?”
and ducks around the counter without waiting for a reply.
He slips his cigarette between his lips without taking his eyes from mine. I follow him out the door.
