Samantha's Story (Prologue)

Prologue

   "run!" a voice screamed as the infected came around the corner. The group of allies ran shooting the zombies. One of the zombies swiped at one and he ducked and shot it with his shotgun. He ran from the zombies to catch up to his team mates. They all ran and hid in a room with the door locked behind them.
   The zombies banged on the door trying to get in. then a hand broke through and started to rip the door to pieces. The team of allies raised there weapons ready to fire when the infected came in. the zombies broke the door open and they fired.
   I watched with pride as my minions attacked my enemies. It brings me joy to see them in pain. Well most of the time.
   It wasn't always like this. Things used to be peaceful. Not zombie infested. There used to be the sweet smell of life not death. Sometimes I wish things could be like they used to be.

"OMG a zombie!!!!" a voice said in the distance
"really Nikolai?!" another voice replied sounding annoyed
"shut-up Dempsey! " Nikolai said. There was laughter in his voice.
A young girl came over and slapped Nikolai.
"Elena!" Dempsey said staring at her some-what shocked and entertained.
"What? Sam needs some entertainment too." Elena said proudly.
Dempsey stared at her. "Don't you think she's had enough entertainment?" he said.
There was a small silence.
"Nope!" Elena said and she stopped on Nikolai's foot.
